HARD ROCK CASINO PS2 money making

It's 9pm and it's casino time - have a few drinks, have a little gamble, win a few grand, lose a few grand... it's the experience that counts more than anything.

I look at my watch - it's only 11pm and lady luck is on my side - I've got a King of Clubs and a 7 of spades, but do I stick or twist? Well I'm on a lucky run and I can afford to lose £500 considering I've won the last five hands, and if I win then that's another £1000 in the wallet, so what the hell - "Twist!"

The big hand has struck 1am and I've only got a £20 left - oh look, there's that slot machine I jackpotted at the start of the night and that old guy's been on there for hours and won nothing, so it's money making time for sure!

Oh well, I don't know what the time is because I traded my watch in for chips, I would get a taxi home but I've got nothing left and nothing to look forward to but my bed... at the end of a long walk home.

This is the premise of Hard Rock Casino, a game where you can gamble your way to success or lose oh so very badly but without any real life consequences - an interesting concept if you consider how poker has exploded onto the late night TV scene; some of the bigger tournaments are even screened on actual sports channels nowadays. However, this popularity has yet to be seen within the gaming fraternity - and I can see why.

I used to work in a casino funnily enough - I called the bingo, kept an eye on the slot machines old and new, and there were even the old table-based games like craps and roulette situated in the building. It was a weird place to work - at one end of the scale you had the razzmatazz associated with big wins, but at the opposite end you would see all the losers who had gambled their last pennies away. In this game you can experience both extremes, but without the actual realisation of losing thousands of pounds or being able to count your winnings. That's the biggest problem with Hard Rock Casino; trying to simulate an activity that millions of people play for real, but without the risk of losing or the reward of winning real cash to put in your bank account.

God of War II (PS2) Game Review and Screenshots

INfact the game is hit on all consoles specially in PS2
Below i submit the review of this game (God Of War II)
God of War takes a tale of vengeance, set against the backdrop of ancient Greek mythology, and turns it into an epic adventure filled to the brim with bloody, stylish, over-the-top combat, challenging puzzles, and highly impressive production values. So many games within the action adventure genre tend to limit their focus so heavily to either the combat or puzzle-solving side, while leaving the opposing side as little more than an afterthought, but God of War does nothing of the sort...

God of War revolves itself around the trials and tribulations of Kratos, a muscular, pale-skinned, heavily tattooed Spartan warrior who, at the outset of the game, is on the verge of suicide. Citing that the gods of Olympus have abandoned him, Kratos throws himself off the tallest mountain in Greece, plummeting to his seemingly desired doom.

The main plot of the game revolves around Kratos carrying out a mission from the gods of Olympus to stop the renegade god Ares (incidentally, the titular "god of war") from destroying the city of Athens.

THE game story is much likely b to appreciate interesting ...and u called kratos a beast but it main role is performed by u thats y u cant say him like that ....

Conflict Denied Ops REVIEW

AHMM While starting with the review ill talk my experience about this game ...ill never forget this ...a wonder full story and alot better FPS graphics...and much much more,,,..

The game follows the travails of special agents Graves and Lang as they attempt to avert all manner of WMDs from being unleashed on the earth at the hands of a Venezuelan dictator. One is black and carries a machine gun and says things like "bro" because he is "hip." The other is white, prefers a sniper rifle and doesn't like his rookie partner. What both of them can agree on is their weapon of choice. They love them so much that they literally can't put them down.

Each mission follows a string of cookie-cutter gameplay concepts. There are explosive barrels everywhere, nuclear or chemical weapons must be disarmed, and the majority of the stages end with a hot LZ (landing zone) that must be cleared before you can exit. The enemy AI is suspect at best, the animations are downright terrible and the dialogue is atrocious. Some bits of the environment are destructible but everything looks so bad that it's hard to care. It begins as a game that feels like a guilty pleasure shooter -- one where you just blow things up and ignore the low production value -- and then takes a nose dive...

If it's possible, things get worse when you venture into the multiplayer "game." Ostensibly it's a game, though that word typically denotes some sort of fun which Conflict: Denied Ops is lacking on all fronts here. There are just three modes (deathmatch, team deathmatch, and conquest), none of which are original in any way other than the fact that, like the campaign, you can't switch weapons. Everyone plays as either Graves or Lang which makes about as much sense as green-lighting this project in the first place. The competitive outing supports up to 16 players (if you can find that many poor saps to play with) and it runs, so there's that I guess.
And in the last illl say that who can a play that game will enjoy till the next game like this came in market hehe :-p

NOW check the screenshots of this game......

TimeSHIFT great game review

TimeShift challenges players to use their minds along with their weapons to battle enemies and solve complex gameplay puzzles. TimeShift changes the fundamental way gamers think about first-person shooters by using the fourth dimension: time itself. TimeShift empowers players with the gift of time manipulation, including the ability to slow down, stop and rewind the world around them, allowing them to move freely while opponents and game objects are frozen in time.In time shift there is a power which is called timesfifting which enables u to stop the time and reverse it and even slow it .....

TimeShift feature mores than 30 combat missions, each showcasing time control elements and challenges that players must solve using both their extraordinary capabilities and combat. An array of devastating and unique weaponry from the world's alternate timeline is at the player's disposal, including bizarre incarnations of traditional sniper guns, machine guns, pistols and more, as well as never-before-imagined armaments from an era humanity has never seen.

The good in this game is the power of time stoping that i like most.........
Even though the story is an incoherent mess, it's still possible to enjoy TimeShift. Why? Because you can time-shift. Your suit has the ability to pause, slow down, or even reverse time--kind of like a TiVo you can wear. This lets you pause the action, run up to a guy, and shoot him to bits. Or if you're feeling like humiliating him before you kill him, you can steal his weapon, restart time, and watch as he wonders where the heck it went, and then make him dead with a barrage of bullets. It's even possible to regenerate health by seeking cover and pausing time.
It's too bad that these powerful weapons, combined with the ability to manipulate time, make it all too easy to fall into a rut of approaching every situation in the same way. Even on the harder difficulty settings you can be successful finding cover, pausing time, unleashing a few shots, and then retreating to cover while your suit and health recharge. Enemies won't always stay back and wait for you to cap them, but their aggressiveness actually makes things easier. You can hide, watch their dot on the radar get closer, and then shoot them as soon as they come around the corner.

It's ironic that TimeShift had such a long development cycle, because the game really could have benefitted from more time in development. If the story had been fleshed out more and the developer had made the decision to challenge players with tougher puzzles and mission objectives, this could have been a very good, if not great game. Instead, it's just another ho-hum first-person shooter with an interesting gimmick.
